Join The Experiment
Do you or have you ever used a dream/vision board? If not would you be interested in testing whether making one could help you to change your life and realise your dreams?
I’mcollecting dream board examples (photographs or images) from all over the world, along with thoughts about the board from its creator.
The aim is to share real examples of how people have used and are using vision boards. Do they or don’t they work? All ideas/thoughts welcomed.
The idea is that vision boards can help you to:
* Find out what you really want in life
* Get back in touch with your creativity
* Feel inspired to reach your goals
* Fulfil dreams like living overseas, changing jobs, becoming wealthy.
The case for: Here’s a clip about John Assaraf, who loves vision boards and claims his helped him to become a millionaire and buy his dream home. In this clip he shows us his house and the vision board in question.
The case against: Here’s a clip of comedian Ellen DeGeneres, satirising Oprah’s well-publicised love of vision boards. Well, maybe Ellen isn’t actually against them, it’s just satire. Who knows. But it’s quite funny anyway.
To take part in the Experiment:
1. Make a dream board or take a photo of one you have used in the past or are currently using. For tips on making one, read the ‘Vision Board Experiment examples’.
2. Write a few paragraphs about the board. This could include how you made it. If you’ve started using it, it could include techniques you use to focus on it. If you’ve been using it for a while, any successes/experiences/frustrations/non-experiences you’ve had with it would be great.
It’s fine to be anonymous or provide as little or as much information about yourself as you like. It would be great to know where in the world you live though. I’d love to get one from Japan. Just because I really like Japan.
The aim is to collect 1 million examples and stories. Yes. A bit ambitious. But that’s just what popped into my mind when I got the idea. It’s probably good to have a big aim to inspire me to keep going. Plus, I am not one to do things by halves.
‘The journey of a thousand (or in this case a million…) miles must begin with a single step.’
Please email examples and stories/thoughts to thedre4mer@yahoo.co.uk.

Hi Dreamer,
I have pix posted around the house and office, but haven’t gotten around to making a vision board yet – though it’s been on a creative to-do l;ist for a bit. I am keen on your experiment though so I’ll give it a go – and let you know what happens!
Blessings,
Keena
